Symptoms
Under Consolidation and Eliminations process, where the chart of accounts are different between target and source ledgers: when attempting to import a journal into the target consolidation ledger and post, the following error occurs:
ERROR
Posting Validation Report shows: No write access to ledger/segment value
Error26 - Showing insufficient access to ledger or segment value.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to General Ledger Responsibility
2. Navigate to Consolidation > Transfer
3. Consolidate the data > Observe the logfile for the processes triggered
