R12:AP: Unprocessed PARTIAL_MERGE Events Prevent the Payables Period from Closing (Doc ID 1490861.1)

Symptoms

1. The Payables Period cannot be closed and there is no data reported in the Period Close Exception Report.
2. The Period Close Helper Diagnostics shows THIRD_PARTY_MERGE events with status U/U.
3. Orphan Partial Merge events are created in the system.
