How to Extend a Contract Under a New Price List (Doc ID 1491867.1)

An Example is a service contract effective from 2012/01/01 to 2012/12/30 and just 3 months of that are billed i.e. partially billed contract.
It happens that for some reason, the pricelist changes. The need is to extend the contract for one more periods with the different pricelist.
How can this be done?
