Adadmin Fails After Schema Password Is Changed Using AFPASSWD (Doc ID 1492939.1)

Symptoms

Adadmin Fails after Schema Password has been changed with AFPASSWD.

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Change an oracle schema password using AFPASSWD. In the example below we used schema PJI :

$ AFPASSWD -c apps@<DB> -o PJI

Enter the ORACLE password of Application Object Library 'APPSUSER':
Connected successfully to APPS.
Enter the password for your 'SYSTEM' ORACLE schema:
Connected successfully to SYSTEM.
Working...
Enter new password for user [PJI]:
Verify new password for user [PJI]:
Password is changed successfully for user PJI.
AFPASSWD completed successfully.

2. Login to the database using new password to confirm it works :

sqlplus apps/<apps pwd>

SQL> conn pji/pji123
Connected.

3. Run adadmin

Setting up module information.
Reading database for information about the modules.
Saving module information.
Reading database for information about the products.
AD Administration error:
DCPW null for "PJI" [1292]
AD Administration error:

Failed getting PDI list for product 'pji'

AD Administration error:
aipspv(): Error setting up PDI list for upgrade
