Oracle Smart Search Does Not Find New Suppliers

Symptoms
Newly created Suppliers cannot be found when searching them in Oracle Smart search. However, this works for old suppliers (migrated from 11i), and also in Advanced Search.
Steps To Reproduce
1. Create a new supplier.
2. Log in to Oracle Supplier Data Librarian.
3. Using Oracle smart search, search for supplier.
4. No results found.
