How to monitor Open_cursors within Configurator (Doc ID 1493070.1)

Goal

Customer is observing problem with open_cursors not getting closed from Configurator sessions of the EBS applications.
They have noticed open_cursors of same session for Configurator keep growing with passage of time even after the users
logout of Applications and than logback again on next day.
 
Following is the trend of Same Configurator sessions increase of open_cursors with passage of time.

Config SID - Total Open_curosts
59 - 334
533 - 308

Date: 05/30/2012
Config SID - Total Open_curosts
59 - 493
533 - 468

Date: 05/31/2012
Config SID - Total Open_curosts
59 - 630
533 - 582

Date: 06/01/2012
Config SID - Total Open_curosts
59 - 675
533 - 835

You can see from above every day number of cursors growing for same configurator session id.

Customer is querying v$open_cursor to verify these numbers
