In Item Relationships INVISDRI.fmb, Item Relationship For lookup_code = 1 Displays "Related" Regardless Of Actual Value (Doc ID 1494578.1)

Last updated on MAY 16, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Item Master - Version 12.0.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When creating, viewing, or updating Item relationship type in the item relationships form (INVISDRI), lookup_code 1 is always presented as "Related" regardless of its actual value.

Expect that the default lookup_code = 1 will display the associated meaning value in table MFG_LOOKUPS for lookup_type = MTL_RELATIONSHIP_TYPES and note the the value "Related" . This value appears hardcoded in the form.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Customer applied Patch 8669322:R12.FND.A which allowed him to change the meaning of the MTL_RELATIONSHIP_TYPES in MFG_LOOKUPS
2. Navigation: inventory / items / item relationships
3. The default relationship code displays as Related while the actual value in the table is Replacement SKU
