Formatting issue with Row order set in FSG reports for 11i and R12. (Doc ID 1495036.1)

Last updated on JULY 09, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

11i Setup:

=======

When FSG report is summited in 11i, the width of the column set is overriding the width of row order.

For example, If the width for Row order is set as 40 and 50 for segment Department and Account  respectively and
the starting position for the first column sequence is set as 40. Then, the FSG report gives precedence to the position set for the first column sequence and starts the first column at 40.

The application truncates the row order for the segment Department and Account and starts the first column at 40 which is the position set for the first column sequence.

 R12 Setup:

=======

When the report is submitted in R12, row order  is overriding the column set width.

For example, If the width for Row order is set as 40 and 50 for segment Department and Account  respectively and
the starting position for the first column sequence is set as 40

Then, the FSG report gives preferance to the Row Order . It is displaying all the characters of the row order, irrespective of the starting position of the first column
