Symptoms

When interfacing funds between Siebel and Oracle Trade Management, we are getting some successful funds and others which are failing with the message :

ORA-02049: timeout: distributed transaction waiting for lock in Package QP_Delayed_Requests_UTIL Procedure Update_Pricing_Phase.

We interfaced 55 funds at one time and 44 of the 55 were successful, but 11 of funds failed out with the timeout issue.
