Try to Enable WMS on an Existing Organization But Error Message: An Error Occurred During Transfer of Period Summary Data (Doc ID 1497051.1)

Symptoms

When trying to enable WMS on an existing organization in an instance upgraded to R12.1.3 from 11.5.9, the following error is displayed on the form screen when saving the changes.

ERROR
An error occurred during transfer of period summary data. WMS cannot be enabled at this time

STEPS
1. Upgrade r11i to R12.1.3
2. Navigate to inventory > setup > organizations > Parameters
3. Attempt to enable WMS.
4. An error appears on the screen.

Changes

 Can occur following an upgrade from 11.5.9 to R12.1.3.
