11G Graphs and Pivot Table Are Forcing An Ascending Sort By Default When No Sorting Is Applied In The Layout (Doc ID 1499022.1)

Symptoms

When you upgrade from BI Publisher 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.1.6.2 BP1, the graphs and pivot table are forcing an ascending sort by default even if no sorting is applied in the layout (the data is already sorted in the query so it needs to be displayed in the original order). The behavior is only noticed when you run the report for the Interactive output . While editing the layout and when using the interactive preview the results are sorted as intended.

This problem does not show up in BI Publisher version 11.1.1.5 but only in version 11.1.1.6.2
