Internal Server Error: Page Timeout Occurs When Activating Email Accounts

When attempting to activate an email account, the application times out and the following error occurs:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
1. Email Center Administrator responsibility
2. Email Accounts > Summary > Update Email Account
3. Set Status field to Active
4. Select Apply
