Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Enterprise Asset Management > Configuration History
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Get the following error when trying to re-associate a parent from the configuration history.
ERROR

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact the System Administrator for assistance.
Details of errors starts with :
Exception Details.
oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException.wrapperException(OAException.java:912)
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect that this error is not shown.
STEPS
--------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation : Maintenance Super User >Assets Tab.
2. Search for asset.
3. Click Configuration History from drop down menu and then click go.
4. From Configuration History View Options Page, select parents checkbox and then select the update icon.
5. The parent information page shows.
6. Try to remove the end-date to re-associate the parent. Get error above.
