Last updated on OCTOBER 01, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Expenses - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A user has 2 credit cards. The iExpense setup for the credit card is 'Transaction Age Limit = 30 days'.
The first credit card has trxns that are more than 30 days (ie. trxns are greater than the 'Transaction Age Limit = 30 days' )
The second credit card has trxns that are less than 30 days.
.
When the user tries to submit an expense report for the second credit card, they encounter the error message "You have
transactions older than 30 days. You must include these transactions on your expense report before you submit a
new expense report containing cash expenses and credit card expenses."

Notes
1. OIE Guide states "...if an employee has unsubmitted transactions older than the
age limit, the employee is prevented from submitting cash only expense reports until
they submit at least one outstanding credit card transaction..."
2. Client feels the iExpense App should allow the user to submit an expense report for
the second card. And only stop the user from submitting an expense report for the first card.
