Symptoms

Suppliers can be found after merge request via smart search.

Inactive suppliers can be returned in smart search when user is searching for active suppliers.

The supplier merge run form forms is not updating the status correctly - The web merge works fine.

Steps To Reproduce:

Test case Web:
1) Create 5 suppliers “Supplier1”, “Supplier2”, “Supplier3”, “Supplier4”, “Supplier5”
-- Choose “Supplier4” and “Supplier5”.
-- Both can be seen by users via smart search.
-- Both have status "A" in "hz_parties" table.

2) Go to “Merge Requests” and create one supplier.
3) Choose “Supplier4” and “Supplier5” for Merge.
-- “Supplier5” is a Primary

4) After Merge, users cannot see “Supplier4” via “Smart search”,  but can see the record via “Advanced search” only.
-- After this type of Merge (Merge via web) “Supplier4” has status "M" in "hz_parties" table.
-- This is correct behavior and Merge works as intended.

Test case Forms:
Same action in Forms:
1) Go to Supplier Merge via Forms.
2) Choose “Supplier1” and “Supplier2” for Merge.
3) Merge completed with normal status.
-- After merge still see suppliers via “Smart search”.
--  “Supplier1”, “Supplier2” both have status "A" in "hz_parties" table.
-- This is not as expected.

4. "Supplier3" is also still shown with “Site” in “Address Book”
-- Enter  “Inactive date”
-- Find there is no “Inactive date” appear in “Site”
-- Users can see “Supplier3” via “Smart search” and “Supplier3” still has status "A" in "hz_parties" table.
-- This is not as expected.
