Symptoms
On R121.3 RAC Autoconfig complets with error message 'Could not contact Service Manager FNDSM_host2_VIS.The TNS alias could not be located, the listener process on <SID> could not be contacted'
Instance VISION, your RAC Architecture is as in model below :
* Node A --- Forms/Web tier,Concurrent tier, host1.xxxxxx.xxx
* Node B --- Forms/Web tier,Concurrent Tier, host2.xxxxxx.xxx <== Autoconfig failed here.
* Node C--- Database/, host1DB.xxxxx.xxx,SID=<SID2>
* Node D ---Database/ host2DB.xxxxx.xxx, SID=<SID1>
SERVICE_NAME=<SID>
Domain name =xxxx.xxxxx.xxx
EBS Version =R12.1.3
RDBMS version =11.2.0.2
PCP enabled between Apps Nodes A and B.
