Unable To Change Attributes At Details Tab Of Repair Order For Non Installed Base Trackable Item (Doc ID 1508547.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Repair Order Management

When attempting to change details for a non IB trackable item in a Depot Repair Service Request the following error is thrown:

Note: The Service Request customer (Customer Name) does not have any Installed Base associations with this item instance(). Please change the ownership via the Tools menu or choose another instance.

 


Steps To Reproduce

 

  1. Identify an item which is not IB Trackable
  2. Create an RO for the item.
  3. Make a change to an attribute. For example - Warranty Status is NULL. change to 'IN Warranty'. Save
  4. Error message thrown
