Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Financials for India - Version 12.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Enter a sales order--> Book a sales order--> Taxes calculated correctly on the Sales order India form
--> Ship confirm the order--> Generate the invoice--> Invoice generated with wrong tax calculation-->
This is because the taxes on the 'Ship Confirm India' form calculated wrongly.

Business Tes Case:

When the taxes applied for Scrap i.e with Excise and TCS then

e.g

Qty 12
Rate 50
Base value is 600
Excise should be on 600 @12%=72

actual calculated as
600 again multiplied by 12 i.e qty =7200 and on this 12% is calculated

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. (N)->India Local Order Management
2. Create Sales order with taxes
3. Ship confirm the order
4. Check the taxes in ship confirm localized
