Hyperion DRM to EBS GL integration: Errors encountered running Load Segment Values and Hierarchies program; ORA-20104, ORA-20100 (Doc ID 1511596.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When you attempt to run the "Load Segment Values and Hierarchies" concurrent request in EBS, you encounter numerous errors.

ERRORS ENCOUNTERED

(1) Exception when Invoking Web Service -> oracle.apps.fnd.wf.bes.InvokerException: javax.xml.rpc.soap.SOAPFaultException: FailedAuthentication :
The security token cannot be authenticated.

(2) The Summary Flag value is missing.

(3) ORA-20104: Unknown Range Attribute detected.

(4) ORA-20100: compile_hierarchy( ) raised exception.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

You are loading the chart of account (COA) values from Hyperion DRM (Data Relationship Management) to EBS General Ledger.
You have data populated in the GL_DRM_SEGVALUES_INTERFACE and GL_DRM_HIERARCHY_INTERFACE tables, but when you run the concurrent request in EBS, you encounter errors.

You are running the DRM exports from a custom program, which was used to populate the interface tables even though the EBS Load Segment Values program automatically takes care of this step.
Refer to the <Document 1315694.1> EBS: Hyperion Data Management Integration with the Oracle Fusion and E-Business Suite General Ledgers for detailed implementation instructions.

Changes

You are loading the chart of account (COA) values from Hyperion DRM (Data Relationship Management) to EBS General Ledger using a custom template.
You have populated the GL_DRM_SEGVALUES_INTERFACE and GL_DRM_HIERARCHY_INTERFACE tables manually, even though the EBS Load Segment Values program automatically takes care of this step.
