Symptoms

When attempting to send notifications, the mailer fails with the following error:

oracle.apps.fnd.wf.mailer.SMTPOutboundProcessor.send(Message)]:Problem
encountered when sending to {[[<email@host>]]} ->
com.sun.mail.smtp.SMTPSendFailedException: [EOF]
oracle.apps.fnd.cp.gsc.Processor.run()]:java.lang.NullPointerException
