Cannot Remove End Date Entered From iReceivables Payment Page

Oracle iReceivables - Version 12.1.2 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
After removing end date in iReceivabes, you can see that the bank account is end dated in the IBY_EXT_BANK_ACCOUNTS table. However, when going to the Customer form, the bank account is not end dated and clicking to update gives a java error:
