Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

From Asset Tracking Super User, program "Interface Invoice Price Variance to Oracle Projects" does not interface Exchange Rate Variance (ERV), Tax Invoice Price Variance (TIPV), Tax Exchange Rate Variance (TERV), Tax Rate Variance (TRV) to projects.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The Exchange Rate Variance (ERV), Tax Invoice Price Variance (TIPV), Tax Exchange Rate Variance (TERV) and Tax Rate Variance (TRV) amount should be interfaced to Projects.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. A PO is created and received with currency differed from functional currency and a PO line with normal Item and Non-recoverable Tax.
2. In Asset Tracking an Item Instance is placed in service. Transactions with transaction sources «CSE_PO_RECEIPT» and Interface In-Service Transactions are transferred to the module Oracle Projects.
3. An invoice is created with price and tax differed from price and tax in PO(tax was changed from Non-Recoverable to Recoverable). The result is invoice distributions with the next line_type_lookup_code's, that need to be interfaced to Oracle Projects:
 - Invoice Price Variance (IPV)
 - Exchange Rate Variance (ERV)
 - Non-Recoverable Tax (NONREC_TAX)
 - Tax Invoice Price Variance (TIPV)
 - Tax Exchange Rate Variance (TERV)
 - Tax Rate Variance (TRV)
4. Interface Asset Tracking concurrent program 'Interface Invoice Price Variance to Oracle Projects' was run.
5. The Invoice Price Variance (IPV) and Non-Recoverable Tax (NONREC_TAX) amount are interfaced to Oracle Projects, but The Exchange Rate Variance (ERV), Tax Invoice Price Variance (TIPV), Tax Exchange Rate Variance (TERV) and Tax Rate Variance (TRV) amount are not.
