Symptoms

On Development and Production:  12.1.3 version, Approval Workflow & Builder Issues

When attempting to run a test transaction in AME where 'Absolute Job Level' is being used and  TOP_SUPERVISOR_PERSON_ID Is Specified , and is the CEO, the following error occurs.

 "<> lacks a supervisor, so AME cannot complete the chain of Authority for the transaction"

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a test transaction
  2. Hard code the TOP_SUPERVISOR_PERSON_ID
  3. Run the test transaction and it fails with the 'lacks supervisor' error
