Symptoms

E-Business application has started to produce much more Archive redo which is filling out archredo disk area and causing pauses in the database.
The temporary table GL.GL_BIS_SEGVAL_INT generates a lot of archive redo.

Changes

Disco Server Upgraded from 10g to 11g.
And applied patches p14069503_R12.ATG_PF.B_R12 and p13418800_R12.HR_PF.B_R12.
