Symptoms

Concurrent Requests stay in Pending Standby for longer time. Conflict Resolution Manager (CRM) is processing the requests slower and huge number of incompatible concurrent requests pending in the Queue.

  1. The requests hang in Pending Standby for longer time.
  2. The requests may be completed by the respective concurrent manager faster. But requests take longer time (around 30 seconds) before they get picked by the respective concurrent manager.
  3. This could be visible only when the count of incompatible Pending Requests are very high ( For example 50,000 ) at CRM .
  4. The below DMLs are found in AWR report with high elapsed time. These DMLS are executed by CRM internally causing the slowness.

Changes

Bulk submission of Concurrent Requests. The count of incompatible Pending Requests are very high ( For example 50,000 ) at CRM .
