Symptoms

Need to have read only access for 'Define Resources' form.  After creating new functions and add them to the menu, receive the following error:

Error -

FRM-41051: You cannot create records here. Operating unit does not exist in the target database.

 

Click OK - at bottom of window see -

FRM-41051 You cannot create records here

 

Steps to Reproduce:
Responsibility:  System Administrator
Navigation:  Application > Function
Create a function as a copy of JTFRSDEF - Set Parameter QUERY_ONLY=YES
Create a function - (eg) CSJTFRSDEF - RO Define Resources (test)  - Pass Parameter QUERY_ONLY=YES

Navigation:  Application > Menu
Add these new functions to the menu 'JTF_RS_RESOURCE_MENU'

Test using the CRM Resource Manager, Vision Enterprises responsibility

Set MO: Default Operating Unit = Vision Operations (User level) - This matches the setting for MO operating unit.

1. opened Define resources using the seeded function.

 Check the following employees.
  1. #10121 - employee with sales rep data setup in receivables tab.
  2. #10886 - employee, no data in receivables tab.

2. Open Read only form.

  1. # 10121 - No issues ( as expected )
  2. #10886 - receivables tab - get error
