Searching For Customers In The Collections Form Retrieves Both Customers And Suppliers (Doc ID 1547138.1)

Symptoms

Need the ability to limit the Organization field in IEXRCALL to Customers only and not suppliers.

The Organization field List of Values (LOV) will show parties which do not have accounts. This was narrowed down to multiple rows in HZ_Parties.
For example:
Find Fidelity% brings back 2 rows for each entry
1) Fidelity 1991 Program,
    - party number 31279 with address
    - party number 53110 with no address since no account was ever defined.

In the AR Customer form, this was also occurring but has been resolved by patch 6703782 R12.AR.B which supplied profile option: AR: Show Parties Without Accounts In DQM. When this profile is set to NO, parties with no accounts will not show in the Customer form.

Advanced Collections is still showing parties with no accounts, even when the profile option, AR: Show Parties Without Accounts is set to No.
Basically, if this profile is set to NO, then parties with no accounts should not show in the LOV.
