How can you avoid keeping old failed data after calling the open Public APIs : EGO_ITEM_PUB.Process_Item or EGO_ITEM_PUB.ASSIGN_ITEM_TO_ORG?

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
The API leaves the failed data in MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The API should not leave any data in MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE.

WHAT IS WORKING
Processed items are automatically removed from MTL_SYSTEM_ITEMS_INTERFACE.
