Purpose

E-Business Suite Applications Manager, Rapid Clone related issues

 

 

This troubleshooting note is intended to verify rapidclone and EBS Installation steps. This document is applicable for Linux and Unix OS only. Microsoft Windows has not covered in this document.

This Note is NOT a replacement of standard rapidclone documents:

For 11i : Doc ID 230672.1 - Cloning Oracle Applications Release 11i with Rapid Clone

Common issues after clone:
A. Unable to get login page in EBS clone instance.
B. Concurrent Manager is not starting in clone environment
C. Oracle Home is not registered/found in central Inventory of clone instance.
D. FRM errors encountered while launching form in clone instance.

 

Verify below steps while preparing target server:
A. Make sure that Oracle home has de-registered successfully before deleting/removing EBS file system on target server.
B. OS pre-requisite and rpm's has successfully installed and verified before performing a clone on target server.
C. Make sure that one valid central inventory exists.
