BI Publisher Report Results In Java Heap Size Error (Doc ID 1549274.1)

Symptoms

On: 11.1.1.6.4 version, when attempting to execute the interactive report, the error below occurs.
This error occurs for one report that extract huge data:

The report cannot be rendered because of an error, please contact the administrator.

Error Detail
Java heap space

 
The xdo.log or bipublisher.log show the following errors:

[][][EVENT] DEConnection::closeConnections: close connection for  [PEX_SIT]
[][][EXCEPTION] java.sql.SQLException: Protocol violation: [8, 1]
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.receive(T4CTTIfun.java:502)
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIfun.doRPC(T4CTTIfun.java:205)
at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C7Ocommoncall.doOLOGOFF

 

[][oracle.xdo.servlet.XDOServlet][EXCEPTION] java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

[][][EXCEPTION] UIUTils.renderError: strict servlet API: cannot call getWriter() after getOutputStream()
