Error while saving order: "The Items Specified Is Invalid Or Does Not Exist In The Warehouse You Specified"

When trying to save an order , system returns the message
"The Items Specified is Invalid or Does Not Exist in the Warehouse You Specified"
This happens when second or third line has a different warehouse than that on the first line.
All items are correctly configured on the specified warehouses.
Order however can be saved with out any error when
- All lines in order are defined for the same warehouse.
- Second line, or third line is defined to a different warehouse of the first line, but the items are assigned to the warehouse on the first line too.
- When the order line is saved after insert , i.e saving line by line.
