Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Appraisals

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Manager not able to approve employee's goal settings.

For organization hierarchy based cascade plan, the cascade button is not available for the top most manager.
For organization hierarchy based cascading plan, the scorecard gets created with not started: With manager status. As a result,
the top most person in the plan population is unable to access the scorecard.

Note:

The PER_PERSONAL_SCORECARDS table, still has the old manager -

Scorecard not available under new manager on changing hierarchy even after plan republish.

NOTE** The customer republish the plan with re-evaluate plan population option , but still the new manager is not able to see his team members goals .



EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect the NEW manager to be able to view the employee goal settings and approve it.

Data used for Replication the scenario:
Employee number: FGB2308 Supervisor - FGB306 - FGB Credit Restructuring Department/officer
Old Manager: FGB306 supervisor - FGB2144 - FGB Credit Restructuring Department/VP
New Manager: FGB2000 Supervisor - FGB306 - FGB Credit Restructuring Department/ASSISTANT MANAGER
Steps to replicate the scenario:

Step1: Verifying Employee FGB2308’s Manager in HRMS-People-Enter and Maintain-Assignments screen. *** PUI-changed the manager, did not change the manager using Manager Self-Service > Change Manager
The Employee FGB2308‘s manager is FGB306

Step2: Create a new Performance Management Plan
Plan Name: FGB PMS Test Plan 1
Method: Cascade
Hierarchy: Supervisor
Top Supervisor: F291
Start date 17-APR-2013
End Date-20-APR-2013


Step3: Verify the published Plan Performance Management Plan –Search Plan -Monitor
Employee FGB2308 is under FGB306 (Old Manager: FGB306 )


Step4: Login as FGB2308, Performance Management-Goal settings screen
Employee number: FGB2308 Goal Settings Page

Step5: Enter Goals
Step6: Submit Goals

Step7: Login as FGB306 (Old Manager: FGB306 )
Manager FGB306 Received employee FGB2308 Goal Settings *** Can see Approval requested


Step8: Changing Employee FGB2308 Manager from FGB306 (old) to FGB2000 (new) ** HRMS-People-Enter and Maintain-Assignments screen. *** PUI
Before Changing effective Date-05-NOV-2012
After Changing shows New Manager: FGB2000 Supervisor - FGB306 - FGB Credit Restructuring Department/ASSISTANT MANAGER

Step9: Login as FGB2000 (New Manager)- Manager SSHR>Performance Management- No task-no results found
Checking FGB2000 whether he received FGB2308’s goal setting for approval – No results found

Step10: Checking PMS Admin Status Monitor
 FGB2308’s is displayed under new manager FGB2000 and not under FGB306 Status-Approval Requested


Step11: Login as FGB306Old Manager) and checking whether he received FGB2308’s goal settings
 FGB306 (old Manager) Goals Approval Screen displays no result found

The customer republish the plan with re-evaluate plan population option , but still the new manager is not able to see his team members goals .
