Performance issue with respect to Order Movement related SQL

Monitoring of daily AWR report has identified a SQL Statement generated from application which gets held up while execution and take a considerable database resource.
SELECT UNIQUE omd.order_movement_gid, ssd.shipment_gid, om.source_tag, om.dest_tag, om.source_location_gid, om.dest_location_gid, ssul.s_ship_unit_gid, ssu.ship_unit_gid, ssu.range_start, ssu.range_end, ssd.stop_num, ssd.activity, ssul.or_line_gid FROM order_movement om, order_movement_d omd,s_ship_unit_line ssul, shipment_stop_d ssd, s_ship_unit ssu WHERE om.perspective = :1 AND ssul.s_ship_unit_gid = omd.s_ship_unit_gid AND ssu.s_ship_unit_gid = ssul.s_ship_unit_gid AND om.order_movement_gid = omd.order_movement_gid AND ssu.s_ship_unit_gid = ssd.s_ship_unit_gid AND ssd.shipment_gid = om.shipment_gid AND ssu.s_ship_unit_gid IN (:2,:3)
