How To Synchronize Installation Date Of Install Base With Warranty Start And End Date? (Doc ID 1553792.1)

For some instance synchronization is working and for some instances its not working.

The required setup in Oracle Service Contracts are completed and verified as per note 284931.1 and 280570.1

1. The coverage template that is associated to the warranty item (and hence is the default for the contract that will be created) should have the 'synchronize date installed' check box enabled to allow the coordination between Install Base and Contracts.

2. In Contracts setup (Status and operations), the 'Active' status must have the allowed flag checked for Update Online in category Warranties/Extended warranties

- Query for Status Type 'Active'
- Make sure the record for 'ACTIVE' is enabled in the Statuses section of the form
- In the 'Allowed Operations by Category' section, scroll down to the record with:
Category = 'Warranty and Extended Warranty'
Operation = Update On line.
-> Make sure operation is enabled by checking the check box.
