Supplier Lot Number is Not Maintained From Source Org To Destination Receiving Org For Intransit Inter Org Transfers in Discrete Organizations (Doc ID 1553833.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Receiving Functions

Actual Behavior
In non Process Enabled Organizations
Find Supplier Lot Number is not copied from Source organization to Destination organization when performing Inter-organization transfers.

Expected Behavior
Expect Supplier lot number information to maintain the same when performing interorganization transfer.

Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Lot Controlled item ItemA

2. Assign it to both M1 and M2 Organizations

3. Create Miscellaneous Receipt in M1
and in Lot-Serial form enter :
   Lot number          : LotA
   Supplier Lot Number : SupplierLotNumA

4. Set Shipping network as Intransit from M1 to M2 Organization

5. Perform Inter-org transfer from M1 to M2 Organization
Click on Lot / Serial button
Transfer LotA. See that supplier lot number is SupplierLotNumA

6. Change Organization to M2

7. Perform receipt / delivery against Intransit shipment:
see that origination date is defaulted but not the Supplier Lot Number

Output of the receiving data collection script  for the intransit shipment shows for instance

Similar problem has been solved in Process Enabled organizations in
<Bug 16414329> SUPPLIER LOT NUMBER NOT TRANSFERRED TO THE RECEIVING ORG IN INTER-ORG TRANSFER
Patch 14192172:R12.INV.B has been applied so to solve the issue (INVLTENT.pld 120.60.12010000.139 )
But in discrete organizations the issue persists after the patch.
