Symptoms


When attempting to run "Retropay (Enhanced)" or "Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) - PDF", the following error occurs.

ORA-00001: unique constraint (HR.PAY_ACTION_CONTEXTS_PK) violated

 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS Manager responsibility.

  2. Submit "Retropay (Enhanced)" or "Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) - PDF".
    (N) Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request
     
  3.  Request fails with the error.


OR

When attempting to run Retropay (Enhanced), the following error occurs.

Cause: FDPCLS failed due to ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE
.
The SQL statement being executed at the time of the error was: lock TABLE FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS IN SHARE UPDATE MODE and was executed from the

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using HRMS Manager responsibility.
    
    2. Run Retropay enhanced for a set with a large number of employees.

    3. Check the process log.

 

OR

 

Quick Retropay (Enhanced) completes with error.
