Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, LPN Management

When attempting to Drop LPN for Assembly Completion, the following error occurs.

ERROR

The task errored out while processing

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a non serial controlled Assembly.
2. Create Routings and BOM
3. Issue the components to Assembly.
4. Create a Job and Release.
5. Now change the serial control to 'At Receipt' and try to Drop the LPN.

TEST CASE

1. Create a non serial controlled Assembly.
2. Create Routings and BOM
3. Issue the components to Assembly.
4. Create a Job and Release.
5. Navigate to Mobile Applications :
(R)WMS Manager > Manufacturing > LPN Txn >Assy Completion > Assy Completion (Generate the LPN)
6. Navigate to Move Orders form and could see a 'Put Away' Move Order Type for the Transaction Type 'WIP Completion' with LPN
7. Now change the serial control to 'At Receipt' and following caution will appear:
"Attribute modified: Serial number control. Do you want to continue. "
8. Save the changes.
9. Now try to Drop the LPN, received error message 'Error processing task'
Note : This is obvious because the FG has been enabled as serial controlled and there are no serial numbers associated with before performing LPN Drop.
10. Now try to change the serial control back to 'No Control' receive following error:
'APP-INV-05525: on-hand quantity exists for item, cannot change this value'

Note : This is because there is a record in MMTT after you try to Drop the LPN.
Expectation : Code should consider the move order qty ('Put Away' Move Order Type) when the serial control attribute is being changed.
