Why Is There Incorrect Transit Times Being Calculated On Calender Setup? (Doc ID 1556351.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 29, 2022

Goal

Transit times to be calculated on calendar setup. Tried to calculate transit times based on calendar setup as we
do not want to consider weekends in transit times. We have already followed the notes: <Note 352830.1>, <Note 262124.1>,
<Note 436771.1>. We are still not able to achieve this.

QUESTIONS
Q1) Can we do the actual shipments on weekends???

Q2) Also looks like with the carrier calendar setup it is working for all organizations, do we really need to setup shipping calendar at organization level?
If no, is there a way to delete the organization, shipping calendar which is already defined.

Q3) Also in the internal sales order request date is populated as 23:59:00, but schedule ship date and arrival date are populated as 00:00:00... why?

CUSTOMERS EXPECTATIONS:
Scheduled Ship Date currently shows as 07-JUN-2013 (example date) >>>> User believes this to be incorrect.
Expect that the 4 day leadtime should NOT be taking Saturday and Sunday into account
for the Scheduled Ship Date, therefore the SSD should be 05-JUN-2013 NOT 07-JUN-2013 (example dates).
