Step Down AutoAllocation process- Delay In Submission Of Next Request After Completion Of Previous Request When Defer Thread Is Used
(Doc ID 1556648.1)
Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025
Applies to:
Oracle General Ledger - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
There is a delay between the start of next request in the Step Down AutoAllocation process, after the previous request finishes. This is due to "Defer Thread" activity which stops the process for a while.
The delay can be of about 20 seconds between the Mass Allocation and Posting requests that must be launched by the process.
This causes a performance issue in the completion of Auto Allocation process at the end of month considering that there is a large number of requests to be submitted one after the other.
