When attempting to run INVARCLI_XML, the Cycle Count Listing (XML) report, the report times out with the following error message. The text version of the report, running for the same parameters, completes in seconds.
Based on R12: Troubleshooting Known XML Publisher and E-Business Suite (EBS) Integration Issues [ID 1410160.1], have confirmed that INVARCLI_XML.rtf 120.2 (customer's version) contains the "ancestor-or-self" clause, causing a performance issue.
"Beginning post-processing of request 8151507 on node EAGNMNMEQ824 at 17-APR-2013 13:11:36.
Post-processing of request 8151507 failed at 17-APR-2013 14:21:36 with the error message:
The concurrent manager has timed out waiting for the Output Post-processor to finish this request.
Check that there are enough Output Post-processor service processes running.
More information may be found in the service process logfile."
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the Cycle count listing (XML) - INVARCLI_XML.rtf 120.2, INVARCLI_XML.xml 120.2 - report to generate cycle count list
2. Program is running forever and ending in Warning without output.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot utilize the management-required XML version of INVARCLI.
