RCV_TRX_DATE_GT_SHIP_DATE - ClearOrbit Receipts Fail When Processed Via Receiving Open Interface (Doc ID 1560014.1)

Symptoms

After receipt is done through ClearOrbit, Receiving Transaction Processor ends in error with the following error.

The Receiving Transaction Processor log file shows :

Cause: RVCTP encountered an internal error. Parameters: RVCTP,IMMEDIATE,1659658,

Action: Note both this error number and the actions you are trying to perform. Contact your system a
RVTBM-008: Subroutine rvtbm_immediate_mngr() returned error

Cause: Subroutine rvtbm_immediate_mngr() returned an internal error.

Action: Note this error number and the actions you are trying to perform. Contact your syste
RVTBM-120: Subroutine rvtptcontrol() returned error

Cause: Subroutine rvtptcontrol() returned an internal error.

Action: Note this error number and the actions you are trying to perform. Contact your system administrator
Concurrent Manager encountered an error while attempting to start your immediate concurrent program RVCTP. Routine &ROUTINE received a return code of failure.

The po_interface_errors table shows :

ERROR_MESSAGE_NAME = RCV_TRX_DATE_GT_SHIP_DATE
ERROR_MESSAGE = Error: You cannot enter a transaction date that is earlier than the creation date or shipped date on the shipment header
Cause: You entered a transaction date that is earlier than the creation date or shipped date on the shipment header.
Action: Modify the transaction date to be greater than or equal to the creation date and shipped date on the shipment header.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a receipt via ClearOrbit
2. ClearOrbit software inserts records in receiving interface tables
3. Run the Receiving Transaction Processor concurrent program
