Information in this document applies to any platform.
In release 12.1.3, During pick release, auto-create delivery is creating both a delivery and trip instead of just a delivery alone. This is happening both in stand-alone mode (when launched from the Shipping Transactions Form) as well as in pick release with auto-create delivery option turned on.
Transportation -> Routing-> Auto-Apply Routing Rules is set to Delivery Creation in the Shipping Parameters form for the shipping warehouse and FTE is used for carrier selection.
The Ship Method and Freight Terms calculated are getting assigned to the trip only instead of the delivery.
This is a change of behavior from release 188.8.131.52, where auto-create delivery creates delivery only and assigns ship method and freight terms to it via FTE.
Auto-create delivery creates a delivery only. Ship Method is assigned to the delivery per the Auto Apply Routing Rule being set to Delivery Creation.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Order Management Super User Responsibility
4. Auto Apply Routing Rules set to Delivery Creation
5. Shipping < Transactions < Pick Release
