Last updated on JUNE 20, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 to 12.2.7 [Release 12.1 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In 11i , Defaulting rules are in use for default Schedule Ship Date (SSD) = 30-DEC-2016 for all orders based on Order Type and Price list.
In this case Internal order type added in Defaulting rules and which is working in 11i but not in R12 for the imported Internal orders.
We want a similar functionality for all orders in R12 also. How to achieve this in R12.
Business will reschedule the orders with in 3 days after booking, but they want the default as 30-DEC-2016.

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Enter Internal Req
2. Run Create Internal Orders
3. Run Order Import
4. Internal sales order is created

See these dates on the internal sales order:
Order Date = May 20, 2013
Requested Date = May 24, 2013
Schedule Ship Date = May 24, 2013
Arrival Date = May 24, 2013
Promise Date = Dec 30, 2016 (this is the date they want for Schedule Ship Date)

Internal Req has dates:
Need-by date = May 24, 2013
Created date = May 20, 2013
