Symptoms


Error received on city tax screens for Pennsylvania employee

We have a terminated employee that needs to be reimbursed taxes. However, when you go into the City Tax screens and hit your down arrow you receive the following message:

APP-PAY-72835: An error has occurred while retrieving Income Tax rules set up at the GRE Level, for this assignment.


User is date tracked to current date but we've narrowed it down to a 01-JAN-2012 issue. If you date track prior to that you do not receive the message. The Tax to be refunded is for Upper Macungie Twp.



Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Federal tax form opens fine after clicking on OK in above error message box.
  2. Click on State Tax button - form opens fine
  3. Click on County Tax button - form opens fine
  4. Click on City Tax button - receive error message and City tax form does not show up.
