You tried to create foreign currency cash through API but it ends with error:

Receipt method identifier is invalid.

This is correct behavior because your setup for the Receipt method has a bank account wherein the check box 'Multiple Currencies Allowed' was set to 'N', so only functional currency receipt can be created.

However, when you do the sequence of steps where you create a functional currency cash through API first, and then within the same session, use create_cash API for foreign currency, it successfully completed and created foreign currency cash even when the bank account associated to the Receipt method does not allow Multiple Currencies payments.
