The 'Equipment Number' is Populated with Letters and Numbers (Alpha and Numeric), Later This Is Getting Split Where the Letters are Moved into the 'Equipment Initial' Field and the Numbers are Placed in the 'Equipment Number' Field. (Doc ID 1563275.1)

On OTM version 6.2

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When a Shipment has the field 'Equipment Number' populated in the 'Shipment Equipment' screen with Letters and Numbers the letters are later split out to the 'Equipment Initial' field and are removed from the 'Equipment Number' field.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is expected that the split of Letters from Numbers does not arise.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1 - Log onto OTM

2 - Create an Order Release
(Order Management > Order Release > Order Release)

3 - Bulk Planned the Order Release onto a Shipment. (Actions > Operational Planning > create Buy Shipment > Bulk Plan - Buy)

4 - Edit the Shipment.

5 - Drill down to the Equipment section via, Equipment Tab > Equipment hyperlink > Edit.

6 - Enter the following in the 'Equipment Number' field: ABC123

7 - Click 'Finished' for the 'Shipment Equipment' Screen.

8 - Click 'Finished' for the Shipment Screen.

9 - Edit the Shipment and drill down to the 'Shipment Equipment' section under the Equipment tab.

10 - In View mode the following is shown: 'Equipment Initial/Number': ABC123

11 - Click 'EDIT'. The 'Equipment Number' field shows: ABC123

12 - Click 'Finished' in the 'Shipment Equipment' screen.

13 - Click EDIT on the 'Shipment Equipment' screen that is shown after the above step.

14 - The data is shown split out over two fields as follows:
Equipment Initial: ABC
Equipment Number: 123

The steps to tender the Shipment are not needed to replicate the behavior reported by the client and the above has replicated the issue.
