RCVRCERC - Receipt Date Defaults to Today's Date After Changing it at Receiving Header Level (Doc ID 1563622.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Receipt Date at Header level defaults to current date even after changing it, minimising 'Receipt Header' screen and clicking on 'Header' button at 'Receipts' screen to view the 'Receipt Header' again ( the Receipt date does NOT change back to current date when maximizing/enlarging the Header form, i.e. it stays equal to the changed value ). The Receipt Date at Header level should be the one which was entered by user and not current date.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate through Receiving > Receipts
2. Select org code
3. Change receipt date
4. Enter value for Packing Slip
5. Minimize the Header
6. Select the line to receive
7. Enter subinventory
8. Select Lot-Serial button
9. Enter lot number
10. Click Done button
11. Select the Header button, the Receipt date is defaulted back to current date

(You can use the following workaround: minimize and enlarge the Header form instead of closing it and clicking the Header button.)
