Symptoms

Pick release ends with errors when ordered items are under serial control.

The Pick Selection List Generation log file shows the following

Error occurred in INV_Pick_Wave_Pick_Confirm_PUB.Pick_Confirm
FND_AS_UNEXPECTED_ERROR
(PKG_NAME=INV_Pick_Confirm_PUB)
(PROCEDURE_NAME=INV_TM_LAUNCH)
(ERROR_TEXT=Total serial numbers does not match the transaction quantity)



Other observations:
This issue is more likely to occur when you Launch Pick Release from the Shipping Transactions Form, as explained below.
