Purpose

This document provides information on implementing and using the Oracle Mobile Field Service - Store and Forward Multiple Platforms Support application (aka MFS Multiplatform or MP).

This note will no longer be updated as it has been replaced by Oracle Mobile Field Service for Oracle E-Business Suite Release Notes (Doc ID 2188514.1). Information related to implementing and synchronizing the Oracle Mobile Field Service Store and Forward Multiple Platforms has been included in the Oracle Mobile Field Service Implementation Guide which is available on the R12.1 and R12.2 E-Business Suite Web Libraries. For any patch related information, please refer to Note 2188514.1 going forward.

The information included in this document assumes that you have already installed the following:

For 12.1.3

<Patch 16982194>:R12.CSM.B - 12.1.3++: Mobile Field Service Multi Platform GA. Make sure that while applying this patch jsp's are compiled. To save time during patching, parameter options=nocompilejsp can be passed. This will skip the standard step during patching to compile out of date jsp files. It would then be expected to manually compile jsp's after all patching is finished. If that is forgotten, new jsp file csm4Sync.jsp that is supplied by this patch will not be compiled. Users will not be able to login and complete the install for the client device then. So the recommendation is to NOT apply this patch with options=nocompilejsp.
<Patch 22757089> :R12.CSM.B CSM: FEBRUARY 2016 ROLLUP – This is consolidated patch that includes all MFS patches till February 2016
<Patch 24354256> :R12.CSM.B - MFS VERSION 24.34 - This is latest one off patch, should be taken on top of 22757089:R12.CSM.B .
