Update Relationship in Customers Screen Error - This Record In The Table Hz_parties Cannot Be Locked

Attempting to end date an existing relationship for a party on Customers page and receive the following error:
This record in the table hz_parties cannot be locked as it has been updated by another user.
Steps to Reproduce:
Navigation: Customers > Customers
In the Customers Search page, enter Registry Id and click on Go button.
Click on the Customer Name link and then click on Party Relationships tab.
Update the existing party relationship by entering the end date.
Click on Save button, and the error message occurs.
Click on Customer hyperlink
Search customer > click customer to open
click Business Relationship tab > update existing relationship
click Apply button
